Dave Taylor is a third generation wrestler and made his wrestling debut in the late 1970's under the name Dave "Rocky" Taylor. He spent many years wrestling in different parts of the world then came to the United States in the mid 90's and joined the WCW. Taylor formed a bond with William Regal until Regal was fired from WCW in 2000 at which Taylor left too. In 2001 he joined the WWF acting as a trainer in the HWA but left after the WWF asked him to relocate to Ohio. In 2006 Taylor was hired by the WWE. During the October 20 episode of SMACKDOWN William Regal announced that he would be joined by Taylor and the old team picked up a victory over Scottie 2 Hottie and Funaki. They feuded with all the top tag teams on SMACKDOWN. During Wrestlemania 23 they began a feud with Kane. The Boogeyman soon joined Kane as his tag team partner. In June of 07 the tag team of Taylor and Regal would come to an end when Regal was sent to RAW during the WWE draft. After Regal left you didn't see much of Taylor on SMACKDOWN for weeks until he finally lost a singles match to old rival Kane. He and Paul Burchill then lost to Jesse & Festus on the August 21 taping of Friday Night Smackdown. Then Taylor has just seemed to disappear and was on a leave of absence.
