Bam Neely began his wrestling career as part of a tag team called the Hellraisers, Blood and Gutz. Bam was Gutz and his uncle and mentor Richard Martin was Blood. They traveled the country wrestling and were always a main event draw. After his uncle suffered a career ending illness Bam Neely began wrestling for Steel Domain Wrestling, this was 2002 and his name was now Magnus Maximus. He signed with Ohio Valley Wrestling and used the name Justin "The Ox" LaRouche while becoming a tag team champion there. On April 8, 2008 he made his first appearance under the name Bam Neely on ECW. After Chavo Guerrero and Kane signed a contract for a ECW Championship match at Backlash he stormed the ring along with Zach Ryder and Curt Hawkins aiding Chavo Guerrero in beating down Kane. Later it was told that Bam Neely was a former body guard and was hired by Chavo Guerrero to be his personal body guard. Bam became part of La Familia and won his in ring debut during a handicapped match in which he teamed up with Chavo Guerrero against Kane. He wouldn't have any luck though in his first singles match on the June 20, 2008 edition of Smackdown as Matt Hardy beat him. On the August 8, 2008 edition of Smackdown Bam Neely along with the rest of La Familia were betrayed by their ring leader Edge. On August 12, 2008 on ECW Neely lost a match against Evan Bourne. On September 23, 2008 he would lose to Finlay on ECW as he made his way to the ring without Chavo Guerrero who had been missing after being attacked the previous week on Smackdown by the Undertaker. Chavo would soon return but Bam and Chavo started having miscommunication during their matches and would start arguing with each other. The two then parted ways and tarted wretling alone. Bam was soon released by the WWE on January 9, 2009.
